Welcome to kee-lo.info, my portal all about me.
Many of you know me from different places - some from PIPEX Sanctuary, some from Club VAIO, and others from Club Chuck. Anyway this portal is my place to just put what I want without it interfering with my portfolio. So you'll find links, news, views and a few things that just don't fit in with dl-productions.co.uk.
Sorry about leaving this place in limbo, I've been rather busy since doing stuff. I've started work on my entertainment blog which will in the end replace this place, so you'll be able to catch up on what I think it's hot and what's not in the world of entertainment.
It's also with regret that I had to leave Club VAIO due to differences between myself and the management, which wasn't the way I had hoped for it to end, but that's life; and we just have to do what we can to get by. So if you don't see me there anymore you know why. You're more than welcome to send me an email, I like to hear from members, but sadly, I won't be supporting people any more as it's not really my role.
C'est la vie I guess, anyway thanks to everyone who's been a good friend, you're not forgotten.

The linklist section is now open. This is for people to post important posts they have made on ClubVAIO to be added to the site. This makes it easier to get round the lack of stickies on the site and should help the community. If you do have a site to add please post it in the "Link List" post in General Chat on ClubVAIO. Wow, it's been a long time since I posted anything here. Anyway the website is still going strong thanks!
At the moment I am looking for a firewire / USB hard drive enclosure as I have found 2 hard disks I don't use anymore. One is a 20GB drive and the other a 60GB, so I thought why not use them. The best place I have found so far is eBuyer, but I think I might look at Maplins too. Hopfeully in the future I'll be able to add a blu ray drive in there.
Anyway hope you're enjoying summer, I know I am.

Just wanted to say hi really, not much else going on, just got 1mbit ADSL so I'm loving that :)
Again, thanks to ClubVAIO members who've supported my Amazon associates - it means a lot.
I now have renewed Kee-Lo.info - I did it with Domainsite.com. who originally gave me a free year's info domain, and also because they're a lot cheaper than the UK sites offering .info. So if you fancy one, going there wouldn't be a bad thing.
I'm going to start a links database soon, so that we can have a database of links and good resources for the people of ClubVAIO, as well as a few choice articles written on ClubVAIO by volunteers. I think it'll be on a importance level rather than just anything, as I really don't have the resources to host a huge DB like they do. Maybe I could think of doing it with XML? But I'd need to learn that first LOL Hopefully soon CU and his crew will one day open a CV FAQ....

Well been rather busy - had a server change back in June, had a lot of other stuff to do, but now everything's cool. Adding RSS to my site soon, so you'll be able to keep up in Thunderbird and Firefox! :)

Not often I have a rant on my site, but here goes, and PIPEX, this is not aimed at you personally, but to BT for making life harder for you guys!
I think many of you know now that BT is a bit annoyed with ISPs selling their services as "unlimited", well now they have decided that people using too much bandwidth during the hours of 6pm - 12am will need to pay BT more for the b/w! A disgrace if you ask me, they make MILLIONS a year from their other services!
But don't get me wrong - I agree they should cut down - specially if it's illegal downloads - specially those selling it on the street, but really shouldn't BT be looking to bring technology forward. With on-demand video being a popular thing, looks like BT will be saying no to us watching it at "peak times". I think this is disabling the new frontier of internet, the next level if you will. We should be looking to educate or kids via videos and watching classics UK Gold won't bring back legally.
But how to police what you're using? That's BTs job not mine! I'm not giving my ideas for free you know!

Yeah decided to finally do some work on kee-lo.info, as it looks like I will keep dl-productions.co.uk for another 2 years, which is excellent news really!
I am planning a system where you can add key posts, and as a moderator I will add them if I see fit. Going to take some time to code up in PHP, but I'll get there in time, so wish me luck :) Also I will have to see how much bandwidth this project will take, might move some of it to tripod....

First of all, a big thanks to all of you using my associates name on Amazon.co.uk, nearly half way there for my LCD :D
As you can tell my dad's project hasn't started yet, but when it does you'll be able to view it.....
Really need to get something done with this site, as it's not a blog! Just a bunch of Kee-Lo related news! I'll keep you posted on new stuff.
My recomendation for this posting is The Go! Team's album Thunder Lightning Strike as it's very cool mix of Fatboy Slim esque big beat with a touch of indie. Love it!

So, where have I been you wanna know? Not much really, been helping James with ClubJames - adding smilies and adding themes and making the place tidy (oh and installing PHPBB 2.0.13).
I am starting a new project soon (hopefully), for my dad, as he requires some advertising and a portfolio. So I'll be working on that. Another thing is it has to be accessible for everyone - so I'm going to have to make a few stylesheets and probably use PHP, which I am excited about because I have learnt to do it, but St Vincent's School don't want to get the PHP enabled server (which does really stop development - not much you can do on BT Click, which is a shame as a lot of people could benefit from it).
Oh yeah, want to give a shout out to MC Lars - I got to speak to him over e-mail and he's a cool guy - I highly recomend The Laptop EP - as it's not your usual rap, it's not like Limp Bizkit either, it's just.... Lars. Really, listen to it, it's an excellent EP!
Not sure when I'll be posting next, busy and family comitments, but I'll be back!

Talking about CV still trying to compile a decent list of good topics people have contributed, as it's unfair the topics disapear, and without a search a few people get frustrated :( which is a shame. But still, working on that... so keep your eyes peeled.

Well, it's been a while since I have written here, and to be honest I have been really busy playing around with my friend's new RA104, which is an absolute beauty. It's capabilities with video is amazing, DVD quality and easy to shove stuff on DVD too. Anyway...
Going to add a few more topics on the FAQ as soon as I find time to do it.... sorry about that guys. I know a lot of people come here to find salvation from a searchless Club VAIO.... but I am busy, can't help it!
Went to see MC Solaar last week, he was absoutely amazing... if he comes to your town, or you get the chance to see him don't hesitate. He did old and new stuff, and I was well impressed.

Wow must say I had an excellent weekend - went up to Glasgow with Faith and Pete to meet Chuckalicious and Hellybongo. We went to see the Experience Tour then we went to Callendar. It was absoutely lovely. We all had a great time, so a big thanks to the both of them. DT: we'll hopefully see you next time!
